I went to work today, still half asleep, and only realized I had put on two different kind of shoes when I changed buses at the bus station.
Naturally, the rest of the day did not go so well either. Looking forward to a good night's sleep now. Fingers crossed!
Hopefully your days will turn out better =) Pretty interesting putting on different shoes...they must feel very similar in many ways. Nice drawing!
ReplyDeleteWell they were both two beautiful shoes!
ReplyDeleteAt one prominent art school near where I live, there was a fad some years ago where the students purposely wore two different shoes each day. Yours were at least a very similar style!!
ReplyDeleteYou will start a new trend! Great watercolor!
ReplyDeleteTwo shoes the same, every day? How dull. Your idea is much more creative :)
ReplyDeleteSue
It's nice that you were able to do something enjoyable with the experience.
ReplyDeleteI think if I did that I'd end up lopsided, all my shoes are heels of various heights, and it's a good job, i'm not a morning person - I sympathise! Great sketch though! I love the red shoe!
ReplyDeletegreat watercolor! It's a fashion statement. It's a new day everyday, so hope they are going better :D
ReplyDeleteHilarious! Hey, you got a great drawing out of it and you can just say it's your artistic personality. Wearing two of the same shoes is just so passé. ;-)
ReplyDeleteOh, that really made me chuckle! I'm sorry you had a bad day, but the painting and story are brilliant!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great painting! just think what we would have missed if you had not donned different shoes that day!
ReplyDeleteHaha! Funny, But a great sketch. I went to a wedding once with my top on inside out!
ReplyDeleteYep - an artist's privilege to dress differently from time to time. It's a wonderful little watercolor, and what a great way to remember it! nancy
ReplyDeleteGreat drawing and nice color for the Shoes. What other colors do you have for your Shoes?
ReplyDeleteHA! I've done that one! Except, my shoes actually looks much more alike than this! Fabulous sketch!
ReplyDeleteI had a friend in my youth who was dyslexic, and to help him distinguish left from right, he always wore two different color shoes. He owned Converse high-tops in every color of the rainbow, and one day it was one red, one black, the next day it was one pink, one lavender, etc. He got a lot of funny looks, but he never got lost! Love the painting.
ReplyDeleteReminds me of a Bollywood movie "Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gum" in which the lead actress does the same mistake while going to a party and when the actor asks her, she confidently says "this is new fashion"
ReplyDeleteAlso reminds me of my nephew's crocs. He has a yellow sponge bob one for one foot and another blue colored for the 2nd foot. At first when I saw, I asked him, did you pick wrong ones from the store :)
I'm sure you could do wonders and be a fashionista with new styles that people at 1st find different
